That’s why we launched our Rays of Kindness initiative — a monthly mission dedicated to spreading positivity, supporting local causes and bringing a little extra sunshine wherever we can.

January – Supporting Local Families with Morrisons Food Bank Donations 📦💛
We kicked off the year by supporting our local Morrisons Charity Food Bank in Retford.
With many families continuing to feel the pressure of rising living costs, we wanted to help make a difference by donating essential food items to support people in our local area.
A huge shoutout to Kirsten and Liam, who helped organise and send off the donations.
For us, sustainable energy is all about creating long-term positive change — not just environmentally, but within our community too.
February – Helping Spaniels Find Their Forever Homes 🐾✨
February’s Ray of Kindness was extra special.
One of our amazing customers, Jenny, decided to donate her referral reward to the Spaniel Rescue Foundation (SRF) — a charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming spaniels in need.
To make the gesture even more meaningful, our directors John & Pav proudly matched the donation.
We absolutely loved being part of something that supports such a fantastic cause, and it’s another reminder that even small acts of kindness can have a huge impact.
March – Sharing Sweet Treats Across Retford Care Homes 🍬😊
March was all about putting smiles on faces.
As part of our monthly Rays of Kindness initiative, we visited not one… not two… but THREE local care homes in Retford.
Our team delivered sweet treats to both residents and staff as a small way of brightening their day and saying thank you to the amazing people who work tirelessly caring for others.
The smiles we received back made it all worthwhile.
April – Thanking Our Local Ambulance Heroes 🚑☕️
In April, we wanted to show appreciation to the hardworking paramedics and staff at our local ambulance station.
We dropped off 10 Greggs vouchers as a small thank you for everything they do for our community — whether that’s a quick coffee between callouts or a well-earned bite to eat during a busy shift.
Frontline workers do an incredible job every single day, and we were proud to give back in a small way.
